Appendix V: Accessing BeagleBone as a network drive

Once a BB is connected to your computer, you can access detection data and configuration files through a shared network drive. It is also possible to access data files on a BB even if you cannot access the Web Interface or create an FTP connection. It’s a useful backup method, but it usually involves some initial configuration. Namely, you will likely need to enable SMBv1 connections on your computer. Once configured, you can navigate the file structure as you would any other drive by entering the following in the address bar.
